Bedford Associates, Inc. opens TPF Development Center in India offering companies a faster, more cost effective way to fulfill system development needs

Norwalk, CT, March16, 1998: Bedford Associates, Inc. has announced that on April 1, 1998, it will open a TPF Development Center in Bombay, India. The Center will be based in a building occupied by World Network Services, another component of the British Airways Speedwing Division, of which Bedford itself is a part. The Development Center was formed to give companies using TPF an alternative way to fulfill their system development needs in a cost effective, timely manner. “Two significant problems faced by companies running TPF are the shortage and the high cost of TPF programmers,” says Henry Hoffmann, President and CEO of Bedford Associates, Inc. “By outsourcing projects to our India facility, these problems are addressed and the development work gets done on time, and within budget.” The TPF Development Center will open with 10 TPF programmer/analysts, each having over four years experience and will grow to a total programmer staff of 70 by October 2000.
